Description: This late middle aged woman prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady and is in decent physical shape. Her black hair is singed and shortened. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Ahlyssa reached her early adolescence her Half-Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a simple brown robe with green stripes complete with hood. He has no hair. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born to a Painter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tanner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Hamil isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Hamil alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: He is dressed in earthy colors with a pastel and green handkerchief worn on his left side. He carries with him a set of halberds on his belt, each one with a topaz on the hilt. His lavender fur is heavily combed to the left. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady green eyes.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sun hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Sun fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
