He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A gifted student she started as a Blacksmith, but she got bored and became a Servant. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Servant for hire.

He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Golm took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bowyer for the past few years.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He became a Sage soon after.
