He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Butcher for hire.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: Gildmak wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gildmak grew up listening to his father's many stories. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Thorpe lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a rival would like him out of the picture
