Her father taught her the rudiments of the Cartwright arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Windy alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
