History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Soveliss fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Jo was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jo grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jo. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
