His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears dark leathers with embroidery. Her white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Bryseis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents enrolled her in a Rogue school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He is dressed in an above average manner. His black hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His eyes are hazel.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Stableman. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Elves.

History: The child of a Hunter, who enjoyed hunting, Charles was taken on many hunting expeditions. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He's also a talented Hunter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Description: This malnourished man has the majority of his body covered in plate. His crest is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are likewise red. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. Through the years after Patrin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Patrin's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His blonde hair, when down, is lengthy. His ears are large.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Sage arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he has money and likes to spend it
