When Lamlis reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Vlorn wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to reunite with his absent mother

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Raiann was born on a far western forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Interpreter. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Interpreter.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
