History: He was raised by priests from a young age. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Cora was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She found a children's book about a Halfling Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero.
