Baern's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Patrin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Fletcher for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Fletcher responsibilities is difficult; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

The war was a terrible time for her, and Makaria does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and sabotage a competitor
