Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Helja grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Helja. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: Standing 5'10", this woman is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her fur is cut close to her head. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her blue eyes.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. After months of barely getting by, Tricking managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: Balimaar speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Born in the north to a Fortune-teller, Balimaar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the north were limited. He has achieved small success as a Fortune-teller.

He has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He is mildly Tiefling supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is greedy; and half-elven compassion
