Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Beast's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Beast is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: She prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. She keeps her white fur in a flapper bob. Her green eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Shadow took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up falchion and armor she uses now. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: Elama is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: She was born into a rich family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life.

He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His gold eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'6" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her eyes are gold and beady.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Half-Elven culture. She has all her life been fascinated with writing.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people; and she seems to be bored by most things
