Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Mastema lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Mastema was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He's also a talented Seamstress, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Body Guard and was forced into it by his family; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Adam was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and to end her boredom
