History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Krûk was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Stableman. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: Gifted from a young age, Jelenneth studied abroad. In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Oblar's homeland. Oblar decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. His addictions have taken their toll on his wallet, and he has found himself with a great deal of debt owed.
