History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Volen was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Volen's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She is a Slaad in disguise. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and regain custody of her son

Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a bow, but if one is not available he will default to his hammer. His chestnut hair is heavily combed to the right. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Oppleby was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Oppleby's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
