History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She found a children's book about a Dragonborn Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born in the south. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wants to raise his children well

She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She comes from a rich western family. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.
