History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. During her travels, Veloptima and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Veloptima discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Veloptima fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and regain custody of her daughter

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the north were limited. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she is wearing a long, brown cloak. She has a very tight haircut. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a Baker, her mother struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and wants to raise her children well
