History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Hûmgrat was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Hûmgrat's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and retire the richest woman in the east

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
