Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Sarai hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Sarai was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and a deep hatred of brigands

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Theobald is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Theobald grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and wants to raise his children well

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and regain custody of his daughter
