History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and doesn't want to be a barrister and was forced into it by her family

History: Born to a Stylist, his mother struggled to pay the bills. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and to reunite with her absent mother
