Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He is a Lamia in disguise. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. The war was a terrible time for him, and Nuraval does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Nuraval was born with his mother's beautiful face. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult; and she has passion for adventuring and risk
