History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Astar is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: The child of a Painter, who enjoyed hunting, Astar was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now owns his own business.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Blacksmith born in the past three hundred years. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her childhood dream was to be a Baker, but she was a colossal failure. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
