History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

His silver hair is smooth and relatively long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Efferil embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Efferil was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Efferil's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Merchant for the past few years.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Orsik was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Interpreter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Conrad was born with his father's beautiful face. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
