History: Born in the south to a Spice Merchant, Anne learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Anne grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Anne. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it; and a rival would like her out of the picture

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tabaxi conditions. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and a strong sense of loyalty to half-elven people

To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Wella was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Wella was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is her passion
