History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting giants, the young Norkruuth began to lead the lost caravan. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Therai hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Therai alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

History: He was born into a rich family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cook. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cook for the past few years.
