History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: Varis was born with his father's beautiful face. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Matilda was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
