History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Fonkin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
