History: Raymond was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Bellfounder, but he got bored and became a Map Maker. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bellfounder they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Map Maker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Born in the east to a Mercenary, Veloptima learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise.
