History: Ishte was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Ishte alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to protect his home

Description: This eastern man wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His clothes are grease stained in places. His auburn hair is heavily combed to the left. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Aldous lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He bought a glaive and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Courier and was forced into it by his family; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Barrister but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to clean up the streets

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.
