History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Purson was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Purson's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Merchant. During her travels, Engong and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Engong discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Engong fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
