Tarak grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tarak. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to orcs.
