Personality: Vola hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Vola was born the youngest of three triplets. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Miller they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Mason, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He has a large green mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his brown robe. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He sports a long white beard, and similarly colored long hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a red coat. She has shaved her head bald. Her half smiles and blue eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult.
