History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman very much looks the part of a Interpreter. Her hair is silver and very short. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
