Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Alberich hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Alberich alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Alberich was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to reunite with his absent father

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bricklayer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
