When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. While he appears to be a normal Dragonborn, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
