History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents enrolled him in a Barbarian school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and an old rival family wants him found

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
