Description: This western woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. This gray eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Ranala isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Barber arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. Nithther enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. She has wavy golden hair. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Falkrunn's homeland. Falkrunn decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Falkrunn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. A true patriot, Charles would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
