History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Dara alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

History: Ermina was born the youngest of three triplets. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
