History: Portia hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. At a young age her mother died while driving off some dire rats. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in scythe use. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and money/treasure

History: Zephan lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Tim was born the youngest of three triplets. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Stableman they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Farmer, and he later adopted a second son.
