History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He is a Deep Scion in disguise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born to a Shepherd, her father struggled to pay the bills. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
