History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Verna was born on a far eastern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Carpenter. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Thorin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Shoemaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shoemaker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
