History: He was born in the south. While he appears to be a normal Dragonborn, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Jarana wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Darrak was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the north were limited. He has worked as a Layabout like his mother before him.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she wants to get laid
