History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Halflings. His skin is light but he possesses many brown ritualistic tattoos. He wears skinny pants and wears a white and brown robe with the hood down. His brown hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has a dull look in his violet eyes.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Miller profession.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Howard reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and balancing his hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Lia liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a rival would like her out of the picture
