History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Arava was born with her father's beautiful face. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright red and pastel, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He is physically well-built. He keeps his brown hair in a flapper bob. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Chay is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Chay lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Chay alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. After coming to the age of reason, Herleva took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: To end her boredom.
