Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Being a Animal Trainer kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Herbalist arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
