History: Oriax was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Oriax grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Oriax. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: This woman loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Havilar liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Through the years after Jebeddo was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Jebeddo's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To be a Shipwright again; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.
