History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kite grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Cook work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cook work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Efferil hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Efferil lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Sweet is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Ruler but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he loathes his own lifestyle
