History: Emeny lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and a deep hatred of goblins

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Tanner. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gifted student she started as a Cartwright, but she got bored and became a Tanner. She has worked as a Tanner like her father before her.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
