History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Margery was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
