History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shautha grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shautha. Being a Butcher kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Shifting will drive conversation. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 48. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born in the south to a Bounty Hunter, Valida learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.
