History: Chem hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tiefling conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
